Fit is King; color is his banner. Looking through my email this morning, I came across this new model from Gustin, and I had to put this up for you. I think the color is perfect…
Cone Mills makes the denim in North Carolina, and Gustin them into jeans together for you in San Francisco. I mentioned it before, but Gustin sells jeans in a Kickstarter-style model. You pay your money to “back” the jeans, but they only make them (and only charge you) if it reaches its funding goal.
Back to this inky BlueXBlack color. Black jeans are popular in style blogs this year, and I like them fine, but I’m still partial to a deep blue color. Blue’s versatility let’s you wear them with anything. This Cone BlueXBlack nails it. The blue is cross woven with black resulting in a deep saturated blue that draws you in and looks mysterious and elegant. If you’re for a new pair of jeans, jump on these — you only have 13 days. They’re shipping in December, so they should arrive just in time for that Christmas present you’ve been wanting to buy yourself. Go with the straight or slim cut.
